Chicagoland Attorneys, LLC ("the firm," "we," "us") operates sharakamal.com. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our text messaging program, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Consultation requests. When you use the consultation form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the type of matter, where your transaction stands, the property address or neighborhood if you provide it, and your message.
Newsletter sign-ups and checklists. When you subscribe to Weekly Market Insights or request a checklist, we collect your email address.
Scheduling. If you book a consultation online, the information you enter is collected by our scheduling provider, Zoom, and shared with us to arrange the appointment.
Phone and text messages. If you call or text us, we receive your phone number and the content of your messages.
Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use information

To respond to your inquiry, check for conflicts of interest and schedule consultations.
To send appointment reminders, document requests and follow-up about your inquiry or matter.
To send Weekly Market Insights, if you subscribed.
To operate, secure and improve this website.
To comply with our legal and professional obligations.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you provide your mobile phone number on our consultation form or otherwise agree to receive texts from us, Attorney Shara Kamal of Chicagoland Attorneys, LLC may send you text messages about your inquiry, appointment scheduling and reminders, document requests, and follow-up on your matter. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of hiring the firm.

To opt out, reply STOP to any message. You'll receive one confirmation, and we'll stop texting that number.

Confidentiality and the attorney-client relationship

Contacting the firm through this website, by email, phone or text does not create an attorney-client relationship. Please don't send confidential information until we have confirmed that we can represent you. Information about a matter we handle for you is protected by our duties of confidentiality under the Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct.

Unsubscribe from Weekly Market Insights using the link at the bottom of any email.
Stop text messages by replying STOP.
Ask us to review, correct or delete the information you've given us through this website by emailing office@sharakamal.com. Some records must be kept to meet legal and professional obligations.

Security and retention
