Based on the Multi-Board Residential Real Estate Contract 8.0, where business days are Monday through Friday excluding federal holidays, and day one is the day after acceptance. Your contract may change these periods; your attorney confirms every date.

    What happens in each window

Attorney review lets each side's attorney approve, propose changes to or disapprove the contract. If no notice is served in time, the contract stands as written. See the attorney review guide.

Inspection is your window to inspect and serve notice of any unacceptable conditions. Schedule the inspection the day your offer is accepted.

Financing: if you can't get a loan commitment by the financing contingency date, you must give written notice by that date to keep your protection.
